TB (Tuberculosis) is an age-old bacterial pathogen transmitted by airborne droplets and remains the greatest infectious killer in the history of man. It can be sneaky, in that infection may occur with no symptoms, but active disease can develop at a later date. TB has reemerged to pose a serious global threat, and causes millions of fatalities, annually.
